Zarah Patriana, who has already blogged about the @askforfairtrade experiment, has just set up a Fairtrade ‘Flock Up’ for Twitter.

Flock Up provides a way to find other twitter users with shared interests, in this case, Fairtrade. Take a look and perhaps if you’ve been tweeting about Fairtrade you might add yourself…

A twitter experiment

When you're heading out for a coffee, tweet @askforfairtrade to let us know how you get on with asking for a Fairtrade option.

Many coffee shops have a Fairtrade option, but do they offer it as standard or only when asked? Can you get a cup of Fairtrade coffee when you ask for it?

Tell us the coffee shops that do the best Fairtrade Coffee, and those failing to deliver on their advertised Fairtrade options. We'll get in touch with coffee shops on your behalf to thank them for using Fairtrade, or to encourage them to offer more and make sure it is always available.
